![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some minion cards are missing text strings/abilities and a few pieces don’t seem to be working fully on mobile yet. On Steam I see that as of writing this review the game is still considered “early access” and there are certainly areas of improvement yet. There’s a ton of character in the heroes! Along with their key art, each hero has a set of cheeky sticker/emojis that react when you play cards or resolve a round of battle. The hexagonal map to explore between card battles is one of my favorite aspects of the solo adventure because you have more agency in how you proceed and prepare for a boss fight than I’ve seen in some other similar games. The download is in the form of a DMG file, a disk image containing the Google Chrome app. I’ve been playing this for over a week and I really enjoy this game! You might too if you like: rogue-lite challenges, strategic exploration, vibrant comic book inspired artwork, talking animals with weapons, and smashing up foes with all sorts of card combos.
